The food at the restaurants
was excellent. On two different occasions, there was something on the French
menu that my husband could not eat. He spoke to the cook ahead of time,
and the cook agreed to make him a steak instead, in one instance, and gave him
a different appetizer, in another instance. I liked our room very
much. It was always kept spotless, and I thought the decor was
attractive. The room was not overly large, but large enough, nicely
furnished, and it had a nice large television and a vcr. All of the rooms
are suites, so there was a separate area with a table for eating or sitting and
looking out at the ocean. Some rooms had balconies, but ours did
not. The room had a well-stocked refrigerator with champagne, sodas, juices,
bottled water, and sparkling soda. There were also four large bottles of
hard liquor in the room - all premium brands (Johnny Walker Black, Absolute,
gin, and something else). The refrigerator was restocked daily, and there
was no extra charge for the in-room drinks and liquor. There was daily
turn-down service, and when they turned down the bed they also straightened up
the room again and, again, left fresh towels. We ate breakfast in our
room on several occasions, because my husband played golf several mornings, and
we wanted to eat together before he left.
When we first arrived, the place seemed fully occupied; however, during the
last couple of days of our stay, there appeared to be many vacancies, and we
sometimes practically had the beach to ourselves. The prime minister of
